The app processes Google identity, the first name entered, precise GPS location, uploaded photos, device technical information and orientation data needed to locate alerts.
If you enable proximity alerts, location may be used in the background to check nearby fires while the phone is locked.
This data is used to receive, moderate and locate reports, display validated alerts, send enabled notifications and improve calculation reliability. Published photos may be visible to other users once the alert is validated.
The app uses Google Sign-In and may use Google AdMob. These services also apply their own policies.
Server photos are kept for up to 15 days, except temporary retention linked to a validated alert. Exchanges with the service use HTTPS.
You can refuse permissions, disable notifications, disable proximity alerts, sign out and delete your account in the Account tab. Deletion detaches the Google identity, email, name and profile photo. Reports already useful to the service may be kept under Deleted user.
